Hello, guys! Another week, another Comics Roundup! Thanks to the great efforts of the Metrocop community, I may have to put “Weekly” back in the title!
This week is once again a nostalgia-fueled ride, with one relatively new comic thrown into the mix. Without further ado, let’s get started!
- 17/04/2015: Brane Worlds: Episode IV, by Hazard-Life. Arctic Avenger continues his re-release of this classic series, this time providing the final released installment. While Unit 27 searches for the missing detective Lewton Slade, a conspiracy is afoot in her home membrane Midgard.
- 18/04/2015: Target Not Met, by PypeBomb. A short gag comic based on Target Canada’s real-life business woes.
- 19/04/2015: Infection: Chapter 2, by Pyren. jim_cjr continues to bring us back an all-time classic of the old forums. Captain Sullivan and Sergeant Jacobs’ Civil Protection team finds more than they bargained for in a long-forgotten bunker.
- 21/04/2015: Gordon Freebear: Point Insertion & Gigolo 10, by Sillyfilms. Two findings of my own, these hilarious comics follow two distinct stories set in City Seventeen: one, an adaptation of Half-Life 2 where Gordon is… a bear; and the other, the story of gigolos in a Combine-controlled world.
- 22/04/2015: Epic Comic, by Kakashi. Another re-release by Arctic Avenger, a comic from the days of PHW titled in reference to the film Epic Movie. PHW Staff members Slick and John-Matrix go missing, and two unlikely heroes are chosen for the rescue mission.
That’s all for now, but there’s more good stuff coming, so make sure to stay tuned!
