Questions, by Petfe

We interrupt our regularly scheduled broadcast to bring you something awesome.

It’s good to know that, even after over a decade of Garry’s Mod comics and long after the fad’s popularity faded away, something can still come along and surprise even a jaded cynic like me. Even better, shine a bit of a hopeful light in our tiny, unimportant little corner of the Internet. It’s not often, but every now and again, that happens. And I’m delighted to report it has happened again.

Petfe, who I’ve mentioned a couple of times before, just released a brand new comic on the Metrocop Forums that’s really, really, really mind-bogglingly good. It’s called Questions and anyone who’s ever tried to make a comic with Garry’s Mod can empathize with it – heck, I know his feelings all too well, only I’m too hopeless to go and make something as good as he did. Honestly, saying any more would spoil the surprise, so just do yourself a huge favor and take the time to read it:

It is, without a doubt, one of the greatest comics released for the past 5 years. And it’s too bad Petfe is saying he’s taking a break from comic making, because this alone is reason enough for me to want to recruit him to the Team, not to even mention the rest of his portfolio. God knows he deserves a spot more than anyone, myself included.

So, Petfe, if you ever change your mind, the spot’s waiting for you. It’s not fame or fortune, but I think being singlehandedly responsible for keeping this community afloat might be the meaning you’re looking for. You know where to reach me, and congratulations.

Metrocop is back tomorrow with another Striker89 comic, so look forward to that, too!
