Two guys are cleaning up the mess outside the old Facepunch comic department. The hobo from the previous episodes is staring at one of them, his box now without a roof.
Inside, Near Elite is drinking from a soda can with a smile. He says it's so nice and quiet there now that the zombie crisis is over. Dragging a zombie corpse, Mythos points out to Near it's no thanks to him, as he's done nothing but pull his prick for the last four months. Near retorts that it's messy work for sure, but someone has to do it. Then, the doorbell rings. Mythos tells Near to do something productive and open that door. Near says yes, boss and leaps over the desk towards the door.
Near Elite makes his way towards the door, which rings again, to which Near says to calm your beard. Near opens the door and greets the man standing there, who introduces himself as door-knocking psychologist Doctor Wrinklebrain. Near asks a door-knocking what, to which the man says exactly and he's all out of doors. Near then recognizes the man. The psychologist says his therapist senses are tingling and Near needs help. Near asks if he does, then asks the man if his name isn't Kazumi. A flash of recognition crosses Kazumi's face, who admits that might have been his name once, long ago, but says never mind that.
Kazumi points a finger towards Near Elite's head and says the emptiness in Near's eyes woories him, then exclaims that he knows without a doubt that Near's humorucampus is suffering from a decrease in size and that the lack of humor explains the faint smell of corpse. Near protests that that's nonsense and his humor is fine, thank you very much. Kazumi laughs and says that was actually pretty funny. Near stares in shock and confusion at Kazumi. Outside, the hobo overhears Kazumi saying no worries and that he will heal Near, then Near Elite screaming for Kazumi to put him down this instant.
Kazumi sits in an armchair while Near Elite lies on a sofa. Kazumi calls Near his mentally sick friend and asks him to tell Kazumi all of his worries. Near asks in disbelief if he's the mentally sick one and notes that he's not sure what happened to Kazumi but he clearly has a screw loose. Kazumi then gets uncomfortably close to Near's face and says that his nostrils show signs of stress, then asks if Near is nervous. Near retorts that nervous is to put it mildly. Kazumi then shows Near a clipboard with a blank piece of paper and asks what he sees there. Near tentatively replies blank paper. Kazumi throws a dramatic pose and exclaims no, no, no, then says this is worse than he expected. Near raises an eyebrow and asks how high Kazumi is.
Kazumi suddenly grabs a bonesaw and says that, given the anomalous results in vivid imegability, the patient appears to suffer from acute afantasia and that this is more likely a result of the axons protruding from the extrastriate cortex no longer exciting the thalamocortical loops stretching into the prefrontal lobe. Horrified, Near asks what the saw is for. Kazumi grabs hold of Near with a crazed look and declares that, as dear Mister Walter Freeman would've put it, it is time for a lobotomy. He tells Near to not worry as at least he's not using an ice pick, then orders him to hold still. Near screams Jesus Christ on crackers and to let him go as he struggles.
Near Elite shouts enough already and punches Kazumi in the face, knocking him back and the bonesaw off his hand. Kazumi falls back onto the armchair and says ouch, then asks what happened and where he is. Near approaches him and asks if he's back to normal. Kazumi replies that, relatively speaking, yes, he believes so, then adds that he guesses ten years in psychology school takes its toll in weird ways sometimes. Near laughs and tells him he's glad Kazumi's alright now.
Kazumi gets up and replies yeah, about that, then notes Near punched him and he thinks he's bleeding. Near Elit hesitates for a moment, then says oh, God no. Suddenly, a stream of blood fires violently from Kazumi's nostrils, engulfing Near and the whole room.
The stream of blood from Kazumi's nostrils floods the entire office and pours out like a waterfall from its windows. Outside, holding onto a floating crate, the hobo screams what the fuck is going on as the surroundings are flooded with blood. The end.
