Half-Spartan#10: “I Have a Secret”

Master Chief watches as a squad of Civil Protection officers stand around ready to knock down a door. The cop in front says he's gonna do it and another, crossing his arms, sighs and says they believe in him. The cop in front says he's serious and repeats that he's going to. Another cop says come on, calling the other Trevor, and notes they've been there all day. Trevor says okay, here I go.

Pages 2-4 missing.

A citizen comforts his wife, who's crying why them. A Civil Protection officer holding two stunbatons says double the head, double the cracking.

The Civil Protection officer with two stun batons says look who's taken a painfull spill, then adds that out of pity, he'll make a deal. He's staring at Master Chief, who's fallen on the ground in the apartment building's corridor. The cop says he will throw that baton in the air and if he catches it, Chief will die.

The cop throws his stun baton up and then catches it. He shouts ha and adds that he bets Master Chief didn't see that one coming. The cop rushes at Master Chief screaming ay, ay, ay.

Pages 8-11 missing.

Master Chief kicks the rushing cop's leg, throwing him off balance. Master Chief, holding a rusty pipe, gets back up. The dual-wielding metro cop calls Master Chief a powerful super soldier and suggests they finish this battle on the rooftops for all to see.

On the rooftops, Master Chief and the dual-stun stick-wielding Civil Protection officer face down as Amy, the G-Man and another cop watch.

Pages 14-15 missing.

Amy screams Chief, behind you. The metro cop jumps at Master Chief behind his back. Chief turns around quickly and kicks the leaping Civil Protection officer in the crotch. A crunching sound is heard.

The metro cop moans a dramatic noooo and Chief throws him above himself. Master Chief asks if Amy is okay and she replies she's good. He then tells her to get down there.

Amy asks Master Chief what's wrong. He says he's been meaning to tell her something, something that, strangely, fits in with this current scenario. Chief stares at the sky as he says that he wants her to know that these battles may be temporary and the Sun may one day explode, ending all existence, but this, them.

Amy and Master Chief stare at the Citadel. Amy asks what's happening now. Chief explains that they're having a touching moment as the comic ends. After a moment, Chief says yep, there it goes. The end.
