Half-Spartan#6: “Apartment Hunting”

Master Chief and Amy exit the train station and reach the City 17 plaza. Amy sings about it being a beautiful day and the Combine having come out to play.

Master Chief stares at the Citadel and wonders to himself if it is a Forerunner structure. Amy then leaps into the air cheerfully as she sings that they might wanna drink some Kool-Aid.

Amy rushes off to the side, singing that the greatest place in the world is just this way. Chief hopes to himself that that water wears off soon. Later, at an apartment block in City 17.

Amy puts her hands in her chest as she surveys an apartment and says that it's the place of her dreams. She screams twice that this is the one. Chief nonchalantly says that it's okay. A man in a blue suit with a briefcase, the G-Man, asks if they have a deal.

Master Chief starts to agree for plot advancement's sake when the G-Man cuts him off, saying excellent and announcing that their roommate will be there tomorrow. The G-Man adds that the Combine requires each citizen to register their living spaces and their identification. G-Man looks to the side with a smile in his face as he says that he assumes that won't be a problem, then calls Master Chief mister Chief. Master Chief looks worried. The end.
