Previously on the Brain Dead Union, the Brain Dead Union has been on the run from the Source Security League for some time. But now, Chris Hall has decided to fight back. The BDU has come across information on a deadly new weapon commissioned by the SSL, and Chris believes it's the perfect opportunity to get back at them. A transmission has been sent to gather everyone available for a raid on the SSL base.

1 - Like Old Times.

At the Brain Dead Union headquarters, a holographic message from Chris Hall ends with him excusing himself to return to his sick bed, followed by room service calling. Mythos and an unmasked Arctic Avenger are watching the message together. Mythos dryly notes what a mouth on that guy.

Arctic Avenger tells Mythos he'd already seen that and knows the mission. He asks what the SSL is. Mythos explains it's the Source Security League, which has been hunting the Brain Dead Union for a while, though he doesn't really know why as details are sketchy. Mythos says what he does know is that they have that prototype and they're going to take it, as a hologram shows a large mecha.

Arctic Avenger asks what Mythos means by we. Mythos retorts BDU. Arctic asks what about Phenomena on Break, starting to note what they could do with a weapon like that. Mythos tells him, stating that POB is over, they dedicated their lives to that but now it's done and it's time to move on. Mythos adds that he needs Arctic backing him up there. Arctic stays silent for a moment, then agrees and asks who do they have backing them up.

A hologram with names of Brain Dead Union members appears as Mythos says right now they've got a few people available on their team, but notes he's not convinced as, even with a few more members, he doubts they can take on such massive opposition. Arctic Avenger puts on his mask as he says high risk, high reward, what else is new. Mythos laughs and says just like old times. To be continued.

2 - Cause and Effect.

A journalist in a news broadcast for GNN says in other news, the authorities have identified the terrorists behind the attack last week, as they show an image of the Port Incident. The journalist says that the Brain Dead Union, a secret society led by Chris Hall, is being persecuted for the incident that caused the oil spill on the coastline. A black and white photo of Chris appears with the words wanted beneath.

The broadcast, being displayed on a hologram, finishes with the note that Chris Hall's whereabouts are currently unknown. At the Brain Dead Union headquarters one week after the incident, a bruised and beaten up Chris deactivates the holographic screen and notes that this is bad. Mythos is standing behind him. Chris asks what he needs. Mythos tells Chris they need to rescue Arctic.

Chris turns around to face Mythos and asks him if he's out of his mind. Mythos shouts that they captured him, Chris retorts he doesn't know that, Mythos insists that they did. Chris notes that Arctic went AWOL and could have betrayed them. Mythos reaffirms that he wouldn't as they've been through hell together and he knows the guy. He insists they have him and the BDU needs to go after him. Chris tells him no, that is exactly what they expect and he is not sending his men on a suicide mission.

Mythos shouts at Chris that he already did, adding that he sent them on an insane mission for nothing. Mythos asks how many of Chris' men were injured on this fool's errand. Chris points out he was left behind too and that Mythos volunteered for the mission and they all had a choice. Chris says he is sorry about Arctic, but his men are hurt and he cannot risk their safety anymore. Chris admits he didn't want things to go like this but Mythos, pissed, says he's heard enough.

Mythos turns around to leave and, to Chris' shock, exclaims that he quits. The end.
