AJ Rimmer stands in the middle of his apartment with a smile and the narrator asks him what the hell he is doing, noting he looks really weird, then realizes what it is and says that Rimmer thinks he is happy. Rimmer tells the narrator no, he really is happy, but the narrator cuts him off, telling him to skip it as they don't care. The narrator tells Rimmer he is just under the delusion that he is happy when in reality he is just in a pause between unhappiness. The narrator wonders that maybe Rimmer maybe has some kind of tolerable job or maybe, Gold help them, he found a nice girl he likes. But seeing as how Rimmer is unused to feeling happy, the narrator states they guess it is only fair to give him some pointers and warnings. First of all, they say, being happy diminishes your natural instincts and you'll start thinking the world is a lovely place, as we see a scene of Rimmer cheerfully calling it a great day in a city plaza with people stealing TVs, apartments on fire and terrorists firing their guns. The narrator adds that you will start seeing good in everything, as a car speeds towards Rimmer, who notes that at least he'll get to skip work tomorrow. The narrator emphasizes the word everything as we see PopwarBunny raping AJ Rimmer, who thinks to himself that he at least is meeting new people. The narrator concludes by saying that, thank God, after a while things will return to normal, as the nice girl Rimmer met tells him she thinks it's so great to finally have a gay friend and then Rimmer's supervisor at work tells him that year-report he said he needed in a few weeks needs to be done tomorrow and also, their database just crashed, so Rimmer has to contact their backup tech guy in Bangladesh who doesn't speak English. The end.
