Standing up, AJ Rimmer declares that he wants a better job, more money and to do something he loves, then that he wants to know why things are so fucked up, why he is so fucked up and why the girl he likes is with another guy, then asks for an apology from God. Rimmer declares he wants people to like him, he wants to be confident, he wants Firefly to be back on TV, and that he wants Clay Aiken to be hunted down and shot on live TV. Rimmer finishes by declaring that he wants a car, friends, a life, a girlfriend and a kickass house, to be rich and famous and, finally, that he wants to fuck. He stares in silence for a moment as the whole classroom glances at him, then the teacher nonchalantly tells him that before all that he has to pass this Algebra test and tells everyone to get pencils ready. The end suggests multiple morals of the story, such as school makes no one cool, you're screwed and you deserve it, go kill yourself, life sucks, you'll never amount to anything so why try, you'll be a virgin for the rest of your life, who the hell cares and fuck you, with AJ Rimmer suggesting the reader take their pick. The end.
