Released in 2007, In the Beginning is a short-lived Half-Life 2 comedy comic series centered around two hapless Combine, a soldier and a Civil Protection officer, who almost kill a human female, Milly (who would later return in the series Combine Commune), and in the process of trying to save her create something far more dangerous than they anticipated.
