Kenny the Copin “A Deal with the Devil”

At a bar, a Combine synth scanner, working as a bartender, tells a customer to quit whining and that his wife divorced him for a good reason, he's a drunken mess, then to pay his damn tab.

Mjolnir82991 from PHW enters the bar and approaches a table where an older gentleman is sitting with a briefcase. The man greets Mjolnir and says he's glad he made it there. The man requests that Mjolnir take a seat but he refuses, saying he doesn't exactly trust old men who ask minors to meet them at a bar in the middle of the night. The man asks then why did Mjolnir come and he replies that he figured the man would have candy, then demands he fork it over or he's leaving.

The man tells Mjolnir enough and gets to the point, explaining that he has noticed a rise in popularity in Mjolnir's game engine-created comic Kenny the Cop and that this kind of popularity is what their network needs right now, because their ratings are down and they are running out of reality show ideas, so they are interested in buying his comic. Mjolnir asks which network they're talking about and the man says it's Fox. Mjolnir snickers and the man asks if he finds that funny. Mjolnir sarcastically retorts why not make a reality show about two lesbian chickens getting married instead of buying his comic, it would be cheaper. The man replies that they already did that and asks how 1 million dollars sounds to Mjolnir.

Mjolnir crosses his arms and tells the man it's not for sale. The man then asks how about 2 million dollars and a novelty gold bar, which he shows Mjolnir. Mjolnir thinks to himself damn, his only weakness, and replies sold. Later, at GM Construct, Kenny, Couper and Frederick are trying to watch TV and forcing Dillan to serve as the antenna, while he wonders why he wasn't a dentist like his Ma wanted. Mjolnir then approaches the gang, saying excuse me, gentlemen. Frederick reacts in shock at the term gentlemen and tells him if there's one thing they're not, it's gentle.

Kenny adds that they're not men, either. Everyone stares at him and Kenny explains he was just trying to fit in. Frederick tells Kenny his talking privleges have been revoked, then turns to Mjolnir and asks who the hell he is. Mjolnir introduces himself as their creator, to which Frederick sarcastically replies that he thinks he's God and if Mjolnir is God, then he is so going atheist. Mjolnir retorts to not make him smite Frederick.

Mjolnir then explains that's not why he's there and that he's there to tell them some bad news. He sheepishly tells them he sold them to a network. They all shout what and Couper asks what network he sold them to. Mjolnir explains he can't tell them as it would go against their agreement but there's nothing wrong with playing twenty questions. Kenny raises his hand excitedly as he says he loves this game. Kenny asks Mjolnir if it's a radio network, to which the latter replies no. Kenny then asks if it's television and Mjolnir says yes. Kenny asks if it's good and Mjolnir retorts no. Kenny screams in shock that Mjolnir sold them to Fox and Mjolnir notes that was short lived.

An advertisement announces that tonight on Fox, these four rejects (Kenny, Couper, Frederick and Dillan) have to stay thirty days on an island with no food in the refrigerator, and when the ordeal is over.
