Mjolnir’s Short ComicsDown with the Combine!

A man stands in the middle of the City 17 plaza wearing a grey shirt. The shirt has a message written in the front: down with the Combine. The man laughs to himself, saying that this will get their attention. He notices a Civil Protection officer approaching.

The Civil Protection officer simply waves at the man wearing the anti-Combine shirt and says good morning, citizen. The man wonders why he didn't beat him and figures he must not have seen his shirt. Just then, two other metro cops carrying a beaten up and bloodied woman walk past him and wave, asking him how it's going and saying they love his shirt. The man watches them carry off the bloodied and moaning woman and raises an eyebrow, calling it odd.

A Combine armored personnel carrier suddenly drives up to the plaza footsteps. A Combine soldier and a Combine elite get out of it and approach the citizen. The soldier grabs his attention. The man rolls his eyes and says finally, but the soldier simply asks if they can have a picture together.

The man stares awkwardly as the Combine soldier stands next to him, puts a hand on his shoulder and thanks him. The soldiers drive off in their APC. The citizen watches them go and says that's just weird.

The citizen wonders why everyone is so friendly all of a sudden. Above him, on the edge of the rooftop, a metro cop is pushing a car off the ledge right on top of the man, as another officer watches excitedly. The end.
