Striker89’s Other ComicsStriker & Nexus Episode #3: Off Course

Nexus Elite is walking behind Striker89 and Bob, who's telling Striker that Nexus bought six hundred thousand dollars' worth of crap to fix up the office. Striker says he actually heard that was Bob and Bob laughs and says yeah, it was, but he should have seen how pissed Nexus was. Bob tells Striker he knows how Nexus get, completely ignoring the fact that Nexus is right behind him, growing pissed. As Striker laughs, Bob notes then Nexus' suit got stolen. Sriker asks if they ever find the guy that took it. As Bob starts to reply, Nexus asks if they can sit down for a minute. Striker and Bob stare back at him. Nexus sits down and tells them to tell him what the plan is. Striker smiles and says he thought he'd never ask, then explains they build themselves a ship, then follow this map that guy gave him. Bob cuts him off to say they could use babies and toilet paper. Nexus and Striker both stare at him.

Striker89 asks Bob where they're gonna get a surplus of babies, then adds at this hour. Suddenly, a crate falls nearby labelled babies. Striker looks at it, then cheerfully tells Bob to grab the box, they're headed for shore. An hour an one trade later, Striker and Bob are getting a small boat ready while Nexus sits nearby. Teh Pwnage and Near Elite look at them from a wall above. Pwnage asks Striker what they're doing. Striker tells him they're going out to sea. Bob tells them they traded a box of babies for the boat. Near asks where did they get a box of babies. Nexus sighs and replies the sky. Pwnage says okay, but asks who would want a box full of babies. Cut to Odessa Cubbage cheerfully exclaiming hooray with a bunch of baby dolls on the ground. Nexus tells Pwnage he doesn't wanna know. Pwnage and Near stare at each other. Pwnage then asks what they're looking for. Striker replies the golden melon. Pwnage and Near exclaim in unison the golden melon. Nexus asks how everyone has heard of this. Sweating, Pwnage says they'd love to stay and chat, but Near and he are gonna go have sex. Near stares at him and says what. Pwnage tells him it's a diversion tactic and to just play along.

Nexus Elite bids goodbye to Teh Pwnage and Near Elite, then says alright, let's get this over with. He then notes they don't have oars. Bob smiles and says he's got it covered, then drops down a wooden beware of dog sign. He triumphantly exclaims they're off as he rows with the dog sign. Later, as they sail, Striker asks Nexus what's the matter. Nexus replies he doesn't know, then notes the boat doesn't look safe. Striker tells him to relax, the old girl can take it. They then hear bumping beneath the boat and Nexus asks what the hell was that. Bubbles start appearing in the ocean, then something huge appears from underwater. Nexus shouts sweet Jesus, Bob notes it looks like his ex-girlfriend and Striker corrects him, saying it's Reggie Little and the legends were true. Striker exclaims to man the artillery, to which Nexus angrily asks if he's serious.

A giant turtle rises above Striker89, Bob and Nexus Elite's boat. They stare in horror at it and Bob says he doesn't wanna play anymore. The turtle crashes on top of them, flinging them off the boat and breaking it. They float in the ocean and later come to at a beach on a seemingly deserted island. As Nexus wakes, he notices the broken pieces of boat and angrily says that's just great and he knew this would happen. As Striker comes to, he asks where Bob is. The two of them then overhear drums. They go to check, hiding behind some foliage. Nexus spots Bob tied to a piece of wood that's being carried by a variety of Yoshis, the small dinosaurs from Super Mario. Shocked, Nexus asks if Striker is seeing this. Striker, looking up, says yeah, then comments those are some huge palm trees. The end.
